With 20 years of experience in the Mexican restaurant business in Tennessee, the owners came to Schenectady for family reasons and saw the need for an authentic Mexican restaurant that incorporated both delicious Mexican food and relaxing, comfortable, family oriented location.
On March 12th, 2012, Casa Real Mexican Restaurant opened its doors in Hannaford Plaza at Altamont Avenue in Schenectady, with the intentions of providing the local customers with an authentic Mexican experience.
Our goal is to provide each one of our customers with delicious Mexican food and excellent customer service. Our vision is to become the number one Mexican restaurant in the capital region.
Our menu is based on TEX-MEX food, which is a merge between traditional Mexican food and the modern seasoning and techniques from Texas. All of our dishes, dips, and salsas, are freshly cooked, with natural ingredients.

Planning for a corporate event? Our new restaurant at Carman Plaza can handle up to 100-150 people. Let us do the work and make you a hero at the office.

Thurs & Fri - 11 am to 9 pm
Sat - 3pm to 9pm / Sunday we are CLOSED.
Altamont Ave
Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed, Thur from 11 am to 9 pm
Fri & Sat - 11 am to 9 pm
We also offer takeout and Curbside pickup at both locations.
